Say Yes ... When God Nudges

Have you ever felt that quiet nudge… that inner prompting you just couldn’t shake?
That’s the Holy Spirit at work.
After the resurrection of Jesus, Peter experienced this in a powerful way. In Acts 10, Peter was praying when God began to speak to his heart—preparing him for something uncomfortable and unexpected. Then came the moment: the Holy Spirit prompted him to go with a group of Gentile men to the house of Cornelius.
Now this wasn’t normal for Peter. It challenged everything he had known. But Scripture says the Spirit told him to go “without hesitation.”
And Peter listened.
Because he obeyed that prompting, the Gospel reached Cornelius and his household—and lives were changed forever.
That’s how the Holy Spirit works. He nudges us beyond our comfort zones. He leads us into conversations, opportunities, and obedience that we may not fully understand at the time.
The question is—will we listen when He prompts us?
You never know what’s on the other side of your obedience.
If God is stirring your heart today, don’t ignore it. Follow His lead.
We’d love for you to join us this Sunday at 11am at New Hope Tunnel Hill. Come worship with us, hear God’s Word, and grow in your walk with Him.
