May we pause this weekend to remember and honor those who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us of Jesus’ words in John 15:13: "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends."

This verse is a great heart check. It reminds us that hearing God’s Word is just the beginning. The real growth happens when we hold onto it, let it sink deep, and patiently live it out—even when the results aren’t instant.
