Remember and Honor

May we pause this weekend to remember and honor those who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us of Jesus’ words in John 15:13: "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends."

As we enjoy the freedoms we have, may we never forget the cost. Let’s take a moment to pray for the families who carry the weight of that sacrifice—and to thank God for the ultimate freedom we have through Christ.

 Lord, thank You for the brave men and women who gave everything for our country. Comfort their loved ones, and help us live lives worthy of both their sacrifice and Yours. Amen.
