No Condemnation in Christ Jesus

Have you ever carried guilt longer than God intended you to carry it?
Romans 8:1 says, “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”
That is such a powerful promise. Paul doesn’t say there is less condemnation. He doesn’t say there is temporary condemnation. He says there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
That doesn’t mean we never fail. It doesn’t mean we never struggle. It doesn’t mean we don’t need correction, repentance, or growth. But it does mean that when we belong to Jesus, our sin no longer has the final word over us. Grace does.
The enemy loves to remind us of who we used to be. He loves to bring up old mistakes, past failures, and moments we wish we could change. But the Gospel reminds us that Jesus has already paid the price. In Christ, we are forgiven, loved, redeemed, and set free.
So today, don’t live under the weight of condemnation. Bring your failures to Jesus. Trust His grace. Walk in the freedom He has given you.
There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus — and that includes you.
We would love for you and your family to join us at New Hope Baptist Church in Tunnel Hill this Sunday at 11:00 AM. Come worship with us and be encouraged by God’s Word!
