Waiting on the Lord

"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." — Isaiah 40:31
Most of us don't enjoy waiting. We want answers now, solutions now, and relief now. Yet some of God's greatest work happens while we wait.
Waiting on the Lord doesn't mean sitting around doing nothing. It means trusting Him when we don't have all the answers. It means believing that He is working even when we can't see it. It means resting in His promises when our circumstances seem uncertain.
Isaiah reminds us that those who wait on the Lord will find renewed strength. Not strength that comes from our own determination, but strength that comes from God Himself. When we feel exhausted, discouraged, or overwhelmed, God provides what we need for the next step.
Sometimes He helps us soar above our problems like an eagle. Sometimes He gives us strength to run through difficult seasons. And sometimes He simply helps us keep putting one foot in front of the other. Whatever the situation, He promises to be enough.
If you're in a season of waiting today, don't lose heart. God has not forgotten you. He is still working, still leading, and still providing strength for the journey.
We would love for you to join us this Sunday at New Hope Baptist Church in Tunnel Hill. Worship begins at 11:00 AM, and there's a place for you here. www.newhopetunnelhill.com
