The Promise

Sometimes life weighs heavy and loss feels final—but God reminds us it isn’t the end of the story. Paul wrote that “the Lord himself will come down… and the dead in Christ will rise first.” What a powerful promise!

Jesus isn’t sending an angel in His place, He’s coming Himself. And when He does, even the grave has to give way. The loved ones we’ve had to let go, who trusted in Christ, will rise again. That’s the hope that carries us in the darkest times—we don’t grieve like people with no future and no hope.

So today, let’s hold onto three things:

Jesus is coming again.

Jesus has the final word over death.

Our hope in Him is unshakable.

Let this promise stir your heart to live with joy, share your faith boldly, and look forward with expectation. The trumpet will sound, and the story isn’t over—it’s just beginning.
